Tooth Pain
Pain in a tooth can be a minor inconvenience, or it could be a sign of a serious problem. The most common causes of tooth pain are cavities, additional decay under a leaking old filling, a broken tooth, or grinding or clenching of your teeth.
The first thing you should do is contact Dental Care Marlboro and see your dentist for help. In the meantime to help ease the pain, it’s recommended that you take over-the-counter medicine, combining extra strength Tylenol 500 mg with Ibuprofen (Advil) 200 mg. Take one of each or two of each at the same time every 4-6 hours.
If you’re experiencing pain and need to make an emergency dental appointment, contact your Dental Care Marlboro office at (732) 490-8101 and we’ll help as soon as possible.
